(With. Capacitive touch panel & GPS FAKRA Cable)

------------------------------------

Devices Used :
- N-LINK2-V4-BENZ(NTG5.0) GPS Settop Box (Integrated Benz interface)
- GAIA HUD Interface For Benz (Head Up Display)
- 8.4" inch Capacitive Touch panel
- GPS FAKRA Cable

First, remove the genuine head unit.

Also remove the instrument panel to install the GAIA HUD interface.

The GAIA HUD system is a structure in which the GAIA HUD interface is interlocked between a genuine instrument panel and a genuine HUD device.
The HUD interface receives the guidance protocol of the map built in N-LINK2 (GPS Settop Box). And the HUD interface output the informations instead of the original HUD.

The CAN data wiring of the GPS BOX is connected to the head unit's quad lock connector by PLUG & PLAY method.

This is a GPS FAKRA cable that can output excellent GPS reception sensitivity by using genuine GPS port. This cable completely solves the receiver sensitivity problem of an externally installed GPS device.

I attach the capacitive touch panel to the genuine monitor.
This is a capacitive touch panel for C-Class by INDIWORK.

This is a customized capacitive touch panel for C-Class by INDIWORK, which has 100% glass material. It has better touch sensitivity than normal resistive touch panel, and it is touch sensitivity like smart phone.

Installation is complete.

After assembly, I test whether the genuine system and the installed system are working properly.

Pressing 'BACK' button for 2 seconds on genuine OEM screen switches the screen to N-LINK2 GPS set-top system.

This is the main screen of the installed N-LINK2 GPS set-top system. This is controlled by touch.

Capacitive touch panel is installed, so touch sensitivity is excellent.

PIP function of GPS Box.

Smart drive functionality is supported. It has a shortcut function using genuine jog dial and automatic emergency light control.

This is the user interface setting screen of GAIA HUD for Mercedes.

This is the actual working UI of the GAIA HUD.

I used the GPS FAKRA cable, so the GPS reception sensitivity is very good.

I turned on AUX using the OBD-AUX module. Mercedes W205 is basically AUX deactivated, so you need a separate module to output sound from genuine speakers.
