BMW 740Li(NBT), N-LINK2 GPS Box & GAIA HUD(Head Up Display)

BMW 740Li (NBT) In The INDIWORK Garage.

N-LINK2 GPS Box & GAIA HUD(Head Up Display)
(With. Touch Panel)

------------------------------------

Devices Used :
- N-LINK2-BMW GPS Settop Box (Integrated BMW interface)
- GAIA HUD Interface (Head Up Display)
- 10.2 inch Touch panel (Clear)

I disconnect the parts for interface installation.

I remove the monitor to attach the touch panel.

The used touch panel is a 10.2 inch resistive touch panel (clear type).

I install the N-LINK2-BMW navigator set-top box with integrated BMW interface and the GAIA HUD interface.

The GAIA HUD must be installed with N-LINK2 navigation. It collects guidance information of the map built in N-LINK2 and displays it with HUD.

The N-LINK2 navigation uses original GPS and DMB ports. Therefore, the receiving sensitivity of GPS and DMB is very good.

Test the system before reassembling.

N-LINK2 has a built-in 'Atlan 3D' map. This map is only available in South Korea.

PIP mode is not bad either because the BMW monitor is wide type.

Because the FAKRA cable using the original GPS port was used, the reception sensitivity is very good.

This is the setting screen of 'Smart Drive' which is one of the N-LINK2 functions.
You can operate the iDrive to switch the app shortcut, change the channel, and zoom in and out the map.
When backward state or sudden stop, there is a function that the emergency light turns on.

This is the setup menu of the GAIA HUD system. ON / OFF and movement are possible.

N-LINK2 video was linked to the rear monitor. Video of N-LINK2 can be output to rear monitor.
