- HDMI signal  HD-LINK Video Interface.

In November 2017, we tested the products to complete the BMW G30 digital interface and Android set-top solution.
This was the final test.



The HDMI interface for the BMW G30 is the HD-LINK series which supports HDMI IN / PUT and LVDS digital IN / PUT. In addition, it controls the communication to the touch of the OEM monitor. 


The most popular YouTube app works well.


The latest cars of the BMW G30 do not have AUX IN / PUT ...
Although it is a recent trend, it is necessary to purchase an additional AUX module to output audio to AUX when connecting external devices.

However, A-LINK has built-in Bluetooth in its set-top box.
So, the image is output to the genuine OEM monitor through the HDMI interface, the audio is output to the vehicle's speakers via Bluetooth.

But, there is one disadvantage to this method.
For video stored in the Android settop, there is no difference in sync between video and audio.
However, for streaming video applications, there is a slight delay between video and audio.
