The CAN data wiring for iDrive Passenger control of the 2011 BMW CIC F10 is behind the monitor.

So, I remove the monitor. Then connect the CAN HIGH and LOW data wires from the back of the monitor. 

The position of the iDrive CNA wiring for controlling the passenger seat differs depending on the BMW model.

If you want to install this system, you need to know the correct information for each model and install it.

Connect IN / OUT at the control switch.

You must obtain and install accurate information about wiring connections.

Connect CAN HIGH, LOW, power, ground, and motor IN / OUT wiring. This completes the installation.

Now, I can control the passenger seat with the iDrive controller.

Pressing the BACK button for 2 seconds activates the passenger control function with a beep.

Then the passenger seat and backrest can be controlled with the jog dial.

If there is no input for 2 seconds after the control, Walk-In systems are disabled with a beep.
