iDrive CAN Walk-In System (Control the passenger seat)

< Walk-In System >

Walk-In is a system that uses the jog dial to control the passenger seat.

Pressing the star button of the jog dial for 2 seconds activates the walk-in function. After that, driver can control the passenger seat with the jog dial from the driver's seat.

* This is a system using CAN data of the vehicle.

Therefore, there is no damage to the vehicle, it is easy to restore the original.

This is the IW200 module for iWalk in systems.

 Just installing this module will add iWalk in options to BMW.

The 2016 BMW X4 is based on CIC HIGH. So the CAN is located under the iDrive.

The location of the CAN control wiring varies depending on the model and model of BMW.

Therefore, the exact location and information of the CAN wiring is required for installation.

After connecting the CAN wiring at the bottom of the iDrive, check that the iWalk-in module is activated.

Connect the IN/OUT wiring correctly.

When the installation is over, I test to see if it works.

Pressing the BACK button for 2 seconds activates the passenger seat control function with a beep sound.

The passenger seat and the backrest can be controlled by the iDrive.
